Vegetarians rejoice! This little café in Palm Harbor is all veggie, all the time. No meat is used at this breakfast and lunchtime spot, however, some dairy items are used. Meals range from vegan pancakes topped with fresh fruit, tofu scrambles and omelettes to sandwiches, wraps and salads. The café doesn't accept credit or debit cards, so make sure to have some cash on hand.

This is a must if you are anywhere in the surrounding Tampa Bay area. For the last 10 years I have been visiting Consciousness-Blossoms restaurant. Although I don't live in the Tampa area my travels take me within an hour or so several times a year. I always make it a point to have at least one meal at this restaurant. The prices are very reasonable for good quality, tasty meals. I have especially grown fond lately of their veggie Eggs Benedict! I always feel such a delight after visiting Consciousness Blossoms.
Great Food :: Bad Service :: If you are by yourself they will take 20 minutes to come to your table to take your order. Not cool when you are on a short lunch break from work. Guess they don't feel its worth the tip to just serve one person. There is one lady in there who still works there that made me wait every single time, so last time I went in, I pointed at someone else besides her who I'd like serving me & they did a decent job. People ask why I go back and it's because it's healthy & some of their plates are delicious, plus I like sitting outside sometimes. Just choose a waitress you like & stick with her. Oh & I'd hold off on the expensive smoothies, I seen one lady put an old, beyond bruised banana in my smoothie once. PUKE! They also sold me an expired health drink in a bottle a long time ago. I had to go back in & exchange it. If you plan to dine here, remember, they don't take credit cards, just cash and check.
