Coors and Budweiser aren't welcome at World of Beer. What you will get, though, is a choice from 500+ bottled brews - from Argentina to Kenya to Russia to Vietnam - that you can drink here (in the proper glassware) or take home ... plus 30 beers on tap.
Expect a packed house most nights, with the trendy 20- and 30-something crowd spilling on to the sidewalk beer garden. People-watching provides great entertainment but there are TVs and tunes too, including live performances (note: look UP to see the musician).
There's no food at World of Beer, but bartenders are happy to provide menus for neighboring restaurants.

If you love beer this is your place. A little pricey though there are other bars in the area where you can get the Crafts and Imports for less but none that has as big a selection. My only complaint is I went with friends and a couple of them did not like beer and WOB only has beer. They do have a connected bar with drinks but we had to split up. That is why I only gave 3 stars.
This place was outstanding when it first opened. Now the staff has less knowledgea bout the products they are serving. They also have started carrying lower quality domestic beers that were previously left out of the product mix on purpose. They are more interested in packing the bar 7 or 8 deep than they are about the enjoyment of beer. The treat the employees terribly and I will never give them another dime. If you want a good beer bar in the same area check out the Oldsmar Tap House.
